Leadoff Studio worked with Jooni Dog to design a safety dog leash that consists of a hybrid between a rope leash and standard retractable leash. Owners can pull their dog closer in an instant, giving them more control of their dog.
Designed for Safety
The dog leash design consists of ergonomic loops and grips to ensure stability, while the handle mechanism provides extra security while reeling in your dog. You can press the release button to allow more room for a dog to roam, and pull the nylon rope towards you to bring the dog closer. We came up with this hybrid design to reduce the risk of injury, and put the control back in the hands of owners.
Added Features
Beehive-shaped ball grips and a carabiner clip are added bonuses to the leash design. The ball grips provide extra comfort and stability, while the carabiner clip provides a convenient place to attach accessories like waste bag holders and keychains. The Jooni Dog logo can also be seen on the leash bumper, tying the product back to the brand’s identity.
Color Theory
The flagship colorway is part of the overall brand strategy. The main color option, powder blue with yellow grips, was chosen because canines can only see shades of blue and yellow.
